I’ve always had an interest in 3D technologies and started my journey via the book ‘Computer Graphics: Principles and Practice’ by Foley, van Dam, Feiner and Hughes. I would read it on the bus on my way to and from college. I played around with transformations, projections and rendering and wrote my very own 3D renderer in DOS with C and assembly!
I later ventured into OpenGL at about the time that DirectX/3D was coming out in the mid 90’s. I wrote a few 2D games using both technologies and practiced my graphics skillset. Later in the 2000s, I developed a couple of 3D games strictly with OpenGL.
I transitioned onto the Revit API working with Architecture and Engineering 3D models and my skills have grown to include 3D analysis and modeling.
